This is a demonstration GIF made in Photoshop from an existing .psd document. The desired details were preserved in new frames using Image > Apply Image, which took a snapshot of currently enabled layers.
These new, ordered layers were then imported into Photoshop's timeline as a frame animation, each set to display for a duration of 1 second, and exported via File > Export > Save for Web as an animated GIF at a lower resolution.
